Wonderful rendering. However, to achieve a higher level of photrealism, take the image maps into Photoshop and duplicate the layer, apply a gaussian blur and turn down the layer's opacity to something like 10-20 %. This will make the colors bleed into each other as there is a coat of varnish on top of the color map which the colors have bled into.

However, not all balls are like that. But I think it looks more photorealistic still.

i don't think the zoom is very appropriate in this image. doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

It looks like the camera is going to slamm in between the 9 and 4 ball :hmm:

Anyway, the first render was sweet.

I think the lighting is much better in the last image!!! Very nice!!:buttrock:

But i agree about the zoom. It doesn't make sense.

btw. the image I posted wasn't a rendering done by me. It was just a picture I found on Google to explain to you what I meant.

Keep up the good work!

André

Good render mate, looks very impressive. What software did you use? XSI is my guess.

Your subscription thread is the thread placed here when you register that you go to to finalize your account, usually you get an email with a link, when you click the link it takes you to a page that finalizes your account. You no longer need it so it's been removed, nothing to worry about. I'm pretty sure I'm correct, but I could be wrong, though I wouldn't worry much about it.

I don't know much about billiards, but I'll own any of you at pool or 9-ball.

I'm serious.

My dad was a pool shark, and I know all the tricks. :)

Good work.

ya know that zoom might make a cool effect if you put it on a pool table at eye level with the balls. Kinda like the viewer is in the cuball's perspective about to smash the balls
