Title: rock giant
Name: Immanuel Günther
Country: Germany
Software: Blender

This picture was made for a contest on "Blendpolis", the german Blender-Community. The contest-theme was "giant". I know, this rock giant is maybe an self evident realization of the theme. But what should I do? I´am a Brian-Froud Fan and this was a nice occasion to create a picture with a similar look. :)

some technical informations:
made with Blender 2.42
Postprocessing with Gimp, only more contrast and color intensity.
The sky is a photo.

I hope you like it

greatings, Immanuel

Great job Immanuel,
maybe some more details to define anatomy of giant, fingers for example...but anyway i like the idea and the result.

This character is very massive, very present. Good job ! :)

Some more anatomical details would be nice, but the presence is certainly already there and strong. Great work! I'll probably remember this one on my next mountaineering adventure.

I love everything except the lantern on the lower left.

nice image but it needs atmostpherics adding to it to make it look real. Also the sky looks like a photo taken from the ground looking upwards if you know what I mean, doesnt match the angle.

Great work still :)

Yes, thanks for criticism, you´re absolutely right. The missing three-dimensionality-feeling was a problem, I couldn`t solve before contest-deadline. It would have been better to go on working on it afterwards. :)
