hi... she is a sprite.
sometimes does something spiteful a little.
but not so very evil... I hope you like her. :)

I use XSI and mental ray.
texture and a little final adjustment are photoshop.

Yeah, there's something totally insane behind this young fairy girl. :argh: Nice result ! :cool:

Like a lot how you played with a fallof of opacity around the character (the wings), very interesting effect.

yo,
from time to time i come here and I try to see some interresting stuff, in both 2D and 3D gallery, and i must say it's a freakin' quest.
Most of the time i don't even have to load the pict, thumbnail is enough to know it's lame.

So ... Good point for you japanese folk, this is somehow interresting!
Proportions, face, global rendering are pretty sweet and cool in your pict.

- The background ruins it totally. It'd work for a sciFi piece. Try to do something more subbtle and faerish ;) Kill the gradient. Remove the line between the ground&the sky.

- I also think you could improve the pose a bit with a more 3/4 angle.
- The pelvis area is burned out. A nice little "corset" on the hips would fit perfectly to that little creature too.
- Her left eye suffers the darkness and she'd look even cuter if it was matching the brightness of the right one, unless you were seeking for this.

The hands looks so big for me!! The color are good and I like the wings and cloths!!
The eyes looks a little strange too!! But is art!! Is concept!! So... Keep it up!!
