HI, I posted this a while ago but due to crap free web hosting reasons the pictures hardly ever showed up.

So here it is again (with working pictures). He dosent have a name yet but this lanky knight was designed buy my flatmate and I am in the process of converting him to 3D. He's yet to be textured but modeling is all but complete. I built him in Cinema 4D 7 and for tecnical reasons am animating him in Maya which I have only been learning for 3 months now.

Any crits welcome. TA.

fantastic model...love the render... just one point... his lips look a little "pursed"..like hes about to kiss you or something.

Other than that i love it. Fantastic.

Hey, thanks for the replies.
He is for animation purposes really.
I am learning how to rig a character at the moment and thought he would be a good character to start with. Hopefully when he is done he will walk all lanky and awkwardly.
Lips to pouty, yeah I see what you mean, he is supposed to be a sad and pouty kind of fellow, I'm going to fiddle with the mouth soon, because I am working on a few simple facial experssions/blend shapes, somthing else I'm trying to learn.
Hopefully a walk cycle test in less than a week... (hopefully)

firstly let me begin by saying... nice nose . he does look likes he's kissing... the walking movie is cute . could you make his arms and legs a little bit less pole like? just a touch.

nice one... lil bruv.

Walk cycles are one of the hardest things to do as an animator, so don't let it worry you that it was difficult... The body could do with a little more movement in it, maybe rotate the hips and shoulders a bit more, I know this is hard with an armoured character though.
