No. The first half of it is other peoples picks. The last half is all my own. You guys are so used to people who do this stuff for a living, you can't apreciate when someone spends alot of time creating something they are proud of. Grrrr i say, grrr.

umm ok first you need to chill a bit, second you think 13 views is something? no no probably 8 of them are of you refreshing. Take a look at the gallery finished works that have 1000's of views with 10 or so replies, it's reality of forums ;)

BTW I really hope you got permission from those artists who coincidentally are located in our gallery to have their work in your trailer. I really really hope it's for learning purposes, and even so credits should be given where they're due :shame:

My site is for learnign purposes. And To praise people who are as good as those who made those images.

As far as 8 being refreshs, nope. I dont do that.

I just think you guys have your standars way to high. Everyone starts off somewhere. Im 15 years old, and trying to find out what i need to do to imporve me skills. And the fact that people are like, "That sucks, and its short, and its dumb, and you didnt do anything" make me really mad. I think I'll just have to stop posting here, and only watch your gallery, seeing as how I cant get one shred of positive if im not the best thing on the block.

You should really concentrate on improving your spelling and grammar skills. Not to mention your attitude. Then worry about CG. At this moment I can't take you or your site seriously.

My spelling and grammar is just because im mad. And I also and dislecsic too thank you very much. (I know its not spelled right, cant figure out corret spelling.) As far as my attitude. I am allowed to have an opinion, and it only goes as far as those who have replies to this forum.

I just feel that my art, and designing is pointless, because no one will help me to improve. Im sorry I don't make incredible works of art that blow you out of the water. But you see, im trying. At my age, I know a hell of alot about designing. I come here, to get help from those who I look up too. If you cant recognise that...

Your site is down because it has exceeded its bandwidth. I hope that's not the same server that you plan on putting your forum and download links on :)

Also, you really need to chill out a bit. Just because people were not totally "blown out of the water" (as you put it), that doesn't give you a reason to start having such an aggressive attitude towards everyone. It just comes off as immature.

Lildragon had every right to ask you if you obtained permission from the artists whose work is apparently in whatever it was that you put together, as it's actually not only bad form, but also a breach of copyright, to do that. You are essentially stealing their work for your own purposes.

Also, if you want to start calling yourself an artist, you are going to have to learn to take criticism. Go to art school, and you'll see what I mean - you won't last long if you can't handle it. You could also benefit from learning a little modesty.

Sorry to say this, but you are acting like a little kid who can't get his way.

It's cool that you are wanting to do something like this site, but you should really improve your people skills first.

On another note, I'm impressed that a 15 year old kid can afford Maya, Photoshop, and web design software :thumbsup:
It's really great that Alias|Wavefront dropped the price of Maya, making affordable to so many people :)

I can take crit, but saying that its pointless is just too far. Say things like: Mabey you could speed this up. Mabey this could be changed what ever.

My site is not down, just the download is, and only for the day. My site is on a diff server.

Sure, some people said it wasn't anything amazing, but that doesn't mean that it's pointless. It just means that you need to make your site special in some way, and no-one can really say what that something special is.

well for one..I think this is the wrong place for crit anyways... Its the general discussion forum..which means people will give general reactions to it...

I cant get to it so I cant comment on it.

Try posting in the webdesign forum (im guessing its some sort of website thing) or at elast the gallery or WIP area, lots of stuff from novice to pro is posted by people ranging from younger then you to older than the sun (or so they say) so dont worry about that...

Lil dragon said it best, dont complain about 13 views...I have seen awesome stuff take forever to get replies.

Anyways i cant see taht movie, but i bet it must be decent if you could afford all that hardware/software at your age...must be doing something right (or very very wrong)

Woh go easy on the guy, he's only 15. Since he's not an adult yet that means he's still working on his people skills etc so lets cut him a break.

I like your vid man, good stuff :thumbsup:. I never did anything that good at 15. Hmmmmm maybe try turning down the 2nd part (music) when the guitar kicks in, I know its suppose to be loud...but maybe its a little too loud :cool:

Well... what to say that hasn't already been said.

As far as crits... it's pretty good editing for some one with no experience or schooling, some of the timing seemed a bit off, but it kept my attention for it's duration. The end (your work) shows some talent, however I have to question your honesty in that you provided no credits for the images that you used. From a non-cgVet's perspective, this would appear to be entirely your work, which is inherently deceptive.

I think you should keep trying to create art... art that is your own... also due to the psuedo-deceptive nature of your trailer, I question the fact that you have legitiment copies of the software (I'm not saying that you don't, but you have left this impression) which diminishes your respectability and standing in the CG community... follow the beautiful Texture Goddess' advice and work on you "people-skills" and someday you may post a stunning piece that everyone responds positively to.
