Title: Lighting Final
Name: Donald Strubler
Country: USA
Software: Maya

This was a lighting final for my Shading and Lighting class. I used an image plane from deviantART, and used some DOF to stitch it to the image plane.

The three tables on the left and the one on the right with all items included were modeled in NURBS, and a Use Background shader was used on the ground.

A few area lights, spots, and light glow simulated the light.

Most of the metals and woods on the Phono and diffuses on the records were procedurals. All were layerd, for complexity.

I'd say that as far as lighting goes, you did a pretty good job. Keep up the good work.

I tried for a while to create a shader network that would diffuse the light like a worn piece of plastic. It came out close as I expected.
Thanks for the comments on my first post ginsun and FrankCSlimski

Thanks Eric!

I'm guessing you had Larry for SAL when you came through as well?
Happy to see another industry worker from Full Sail!

The first thing i noticed was the stretching on the side of the table on the left.

Otherwise it looks like a great SAL final!

Good luck with the rest of your time at Full Sail!
