raregraphics 12-02-2007, 01:48 AM This is an animation i made for a school project with a juicebox and here are the final results, PLEASE give me some feedback on it. i'm still learning. Comments, critiques, concerns are welcome.

i used Maya 8.5, mental ray, and after effects 7.0.

Its in short tests like these that you can grow a lot.
Quite frankly I watched it 3 times and enjoyed it quite a bit.
Excellent work, keep at it and have fun.
using mental ray is hardly needed for a thing like this. So save yourselve a ton of rendertime and use the default renderer. Best thing I ever did :]
Anyway, keep doing stuff like this. short scenes with high quality.

Hi - I think you have got some of the timing bits etc done nicely - but it isn't really clear to me what is going on - as such, maybe this is an issue? It could be due to my screen (sometimes a bit dark), but.. worth thinking about maybe.

it may be cause of the background being so dark, and the ball having black strips. i'll light the background up a bit. thanks for the comments guy i really appreciate it.
