View Full Version : For Flex Giddy - Maya Live
manutara 04-18-2003, 03:15 AM I think I can help you but can you be more Specific in what you need to know about Maya live. Do you know anything about it?
Here I have some steps of the process (http://www.vfs.com/~felipev/Cosillas_3D/Track/) but I need to explain each one...Do you want me to start from scratch?

You don't have to go through that much trouble. But more or less it's just getting tracking points. Thanks

Flex Giddy:
For the tracking points make sure you pick some really contrast zones in your clip.
- Click the Add track point tool and select one pixel that you think has contrast enough.
- Make sure you select a point that is seen during all the shot.
- If you have Zoom that complicates everything
- If you have Pans or Dollys you have to use more points, specially in those frames where you loose the track of some previus points.
- Is normal that when you press Start Track at the begining Maya Live is very precise but it starts loosing the track, going from green to yellow or Red. If you see that the point is correctly tracked, Start tracking again. You'll see that now it will be better. Repeat this as many times you need. :buttrock:
- You need some very nice and flat green bars before you even think in solving the thack.
- Good luck!!!
Sorry my english...did you understand
