Hi!.....i am working with after effects cs3, and i have a serius problem.

i can't create mpg movies...i can't import them...nothing at all!....and i can't import mp3 files either!...so i have to create an avi without compression and open it in premere, and then export the mpg....but i don't want to keep doing this.

when i want to create the mpg in after i get this error " can't find burner" or something like that...cause is in spanish the error......

Someone knows how to fix this?.....i need help!:sad:

First of all, AE HATES MP3 files. Do not use them even if AE will import it, you will get all kinds of funky unexplainable errors.

Similarly, don't use MPG files as source materials for an AE project. There is no value in doing this anyway since MPGs are very compressed and your final output will look horrible. You should always start with the highest quality materials possible, even if you eventually plan to render out to MPG or similar formats.

I would suggest using your original files, or convert all of them to Quicktime files. You didn't say what your source materials are so it's hard to recommend codec options, as they vary depend on the type of material (footage vs. graphics for example).

Well...i always use avi with no compression, or targa sequences for soruce files....and i use the mpgs, to burn it ans watch them on tv...i know that is not the better quality, but i still need to export mpgs...my job makes me do it...a long time ago AE was exporting mpg...but not now... it doesn't matter if i can't import them, and i don't care..i just need to export mpgs.

can you help me?:)

lol.....i don't want to do that...it takes a lot of time to render in after and re-render in other program! and thats not productive...i want is a solution..i want to know, why AE doesn't want to export any mpg or dvd video, and how to fix it, my job make me do it.

OMG!.....i will explain again.....i HAVE!...., to make DVD videos...and with an avi, mov, wmv, i can't make dvd video, and some times i have to do it fast, and i have no time to make it with other programs....so.....there is a solution to export MPGS!......with my AE without using other programs?:twisted:

lol...it doesn't hurt...thats not the solution...the solution is only a need!:thumbsup: and i will wait for someone that knows how to fix it.
