A corridor in a building,red light,a woman who wearing a orange cheong-sam with some peony and kingfisher's pattern on it.Her eyes are staring at the front house number.A cigarette grasps in hers right hand,a little weak thioindigo red light on her ice-cold face.

At the background you will find a maidservant sweeping the floor.The woman is waiting for the door turned on,she suspecting the man inside would be fat or thin,strong or effeminate,old or young...Her look and movement only are in order to conceal herself ,in human's eyes prostitute is should not have the dignity...

This is a sketch map,I want to make the color and the proportionment right~

Keep going on finishing the sketch map,I'm used to start from the face.I dont' want to only just painting the chinese style's girl,I like to make her differently with some my own fancy.For instance,her eyelashes and the flecker ,all inspirationes like these are form modern times and the occident.

a friend of my told me that,why the girl's face is red? Because there isn't a light show that，so I try to change the color...:D
