View Full Version : "Paste in Place" of some sorts?
hospadam 11-29-2007, 04:15 PM I know this is a simple question - but I've searched and I just can't find it. When I Paste (ctrl+v), it always puts the element at the beginning of the comp. Is there a way where it will paste where the cursor is? (Much like when you paste in effects onto a layer).
Thanks!

Check your prefs. Turn off "Always create new elements at start of timeline". It also affects copy&paste operations.

Thank My. For future searchers - I kept messing around with it, and I figured out something else that works (regardless of your preferences).
Ctrl+Option (alt on a PC)+ V will paste into place.
Thanks!
