woah, that was just fantastic

I really like the lightning, most people just throw in GI on top of thier animations and hope it will look 'professional' but you guys threw in lights where they needed to be. I really liked the stop-motion-looking animation in diffirent parts of the film. The atmosphere is amazing, it has a nice cooling meaning to it. The sound is a very imortant part, has also a nice calm feeling to it.

I really hope you had a high-res divx version avalible bacause I strongly suggest this as a possible top 10 oscar nomination for short subject animation.

Hope this is or has been around festivals and such.

Great work for everyone involved! Good luck in the future!

Big thank you!!! I especially appreciate that you are praising the cinematogrophy of it.
So my decision to bring cinematographer Philipp Sichler in the team really paid off. He accompanied the project as an advisor and 'virtual' cinematographer from the very beginning.
Together we did the first draft of the storyboard and he was my partner for the animatic, too. He learned us all much about camera movements and focal lengths and lighting.
The movie was even showed at the manaki brothers film festival, which is the biggest film festival for cinematographers.
