Eudaimic 04-17-2003, 04:34 PM I was animating away happy as a pigeon when all of the sudden I instead get only a view of the keys... wth!?
And now I can't get my curves back :(

ummmm
i'm not sure whats going on but i'll make an educated guess this 'view of keys' you see is in track view, where you can simply right click on the key to bring up the function curves -
OR (what i do) just edit your function curves directly in the motion panel so you don't have trackview taking up half the screen

I have a dual monitor setup, so space is not much of a concern.
Here's what it looks like. Now how the devil do I get my curves back?! Usually I could just rightclick and select Load Layout -> Trackbar Layout. But that doesn't work anymore :(

hmmm
well i'm guessing your not a newb or anything so you've already clicked on the 'function curves' button at the top of the trackview bar correct? and have u tried right clicking the actual key frames to bring up the curves layout?
I don't really know what to tell ya --- the methods i mentioned above should work regardless, you can even right click the key on the timeslider and edit the individual curves there, but once again i suggest the motion panel layout, but i understand some ppl love trackview

I found a solution :) If I press the 'draw curves' button, then it'll bring up my beloved curves again.
Thanks though.
