View Full Version : Easy effective sasquatch grass in 3DS...HOW?

Grass in Lightwave is done with a plugin thats free, what does 3ds have similar? BTW i dont want to be directed to that tute about making grass with low level polys. ta in advance

the only really effective way is to use Shag Hair, or Shag Fur. Both can be got from Digimation.
They are not ideal, but shave and hair cut will be out soon! phew!

look here u will find a free plugin grass for max4/5
its very good and esy to use .

U mean to tell me I have to spend even more to make grass...?!
We just paid over like 10k for this app...

More like 7400...the street price of MAX has been roughly $2600 for a long time. The grass o matic plugin is free but Sasquatch isn't (not sure where you got that idea).

Sorry was talking australian exchange and with the computer to run it, very expensive, saquath lite comes for free in lightwave what equiveilent is in 3ds?

Well you could always use Peter Watjes Hair plugin. Its pretty slow but I've used it to do grass before and it worked just fine.
