Here is a work in progress matte painting I am doing in my free time. The plane started as a 3d model I found which I broke up and retextured. The wheel is 3d and the side of the plane is painted.
I plan to ad more debris around the place.Crits and comments welcome.

I think the plane needs to be buried more in the snow. right now the plane looks like it just sitting on top of the snow

I agree with Ryan about the plane , I think it is looking great and all the details so far look great, don't forget all the baggage and clothes or any human related stuff around it, I would brake in two pieces the plane, more agressive hit on the snow, I think you are good with levels so far, show us more, and keep it up!

Thanks Ryan and James for the suggestions. I will work on it being more destroyed. I like the suggestion of putting the luggage in the scene.
