string $MyFile = `substitute "\.ma" $FilePath ".bat"`;

Regex not working in Maya... sigh.

What is a good string find replace subsitute for Maya.

[\.]ma

As always, after posting I figure out the solution on my last attempt. So... stay away from \. unless it's in brackets because Maya messes up the "literal" version of "."

I'm glad this works but that was annoying...
