Hey Julien,
Well done on a very well thought concept and solid animation. I really enjoyed the stylization of the characters and the special attention to details.
I am curious to know how long did it take you guys to complete the project? and how many people were working on it etc?
It will be great to hear more about it.
Congrats!!

Hi Avneriginal !
Thx for your comment.
The whole project take about one and a half year to become a reality:
- 6 month of Pre-Production: script, storyboard, animatic 2D, concept design, etc...
- 1 year of Production: animatic 3D, modeling, texturing, animating, ligthing, etc...
We come from European School Of Animation (http://www.eesa.fr) (EESA), in Paris, and the team is:
Director:
Julien Badoil (concept design, modeling, texturing, animation)
Bertrand de Becque (modeling, animation, ligthing, compositing)
Larson Liberlin de Shoriba Diop ( setup, animation)
Sound:
Alexandre Santos
Fabrice Allard
www.unknownsignal.com (http://www.unknownsignal.com)
We shot all in a theater near our school, during 15 days, sharing task between us except for the lighting of the scene, base on our design color, made by three men of the theater.
It was a great experience and i hope you enjoy the movie as much as us to made it !
Bye.

Hehehe
Thanks for the quick reply Julien,
Much props for you and your team,
It looks like a very funky project to work on.
I enjoyed watching it very much and I am sure it's going to do well at short film festivals around the globe.
Keep up the good work!

Why this is not on the front page I don't know. One of the most entertaining shorts I've seen in a while.

Hi Julien !!
I'm very happy to have some good news about you from this website.
It's been a long time since we quit the ESRA for something different.
Your short is very well done, the story is pretty cool and the models are very funny.
I've noticed some little animation problems but it's also a part of the short style.
The concept drawings are very well done. I remember you were a good drawer so you might have drawn these concept => Congratulations
I really enjoyed this short and I know it will be OK for you for a coming career in the CG industry.
Keep going and thanks for this good short...
