(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/1196107891/1024bound)Well this is probably an odd alien machinery :) I looked to make the repetitive shape as interesting as possible so I lit it with this "plasma tube". It could be a nice entry for the past EON challenge ;)

Modeling and rendering: modo
No lights just GI everywhere :)

I love this concept alot. I would suggest a cooler, maybe more metalic look to the repetative links, It would breath alot more life into it.

aurora - thx, well maybe I will create a v2 in bright light :shrug: but i`m not sure I want to move back as I`m taking this challenge to experiment as many new effects as possible.
