I have this thing with baba yaga (a Russian witch) and her little wooden cabin in a deep forest.
I was going for a moody yet whimsical feel...

Cool image! The environment has great atmosphere and flow, feels very fluid.

Fluid is right. There's actually an odd, underwater feel to the whole picture, especially where the light in the middle is shining in, like sunlight filtered through seaweed. I love the colors and textures, its definately moody, whimsical, and atmospheric. 4 stars.

thanx for the great comments!

There is defenetly a soft underwater quality to the piece Ghotire, that probably has to do as much with color as with shape. the whimsy aspect was a quick test on the more "straight"
version I did...

Nice! the "straight" version is pretty awesome as well, and with a very different pallette. They both have a home in my Inspiration folder.
