Wow it looks awesome. The idea, the lighting, the models. I Love it!
Only downside I see in this pic is that the hairs on the floor (unlike the ones on the body) seem rather "needle-ish" :)

Great character design, I love how the expressions are so emotive despite being such a unique and non-human design :) Your main character's look of disappointment is priceless, as are the little touches like a bumblebee having a rather human rear end lol.

Till, very nice work indeed and a funny example for having bad ideas. :D
As already mentioned several times, the overall look is very nice, the character design also and so is the story behind.
The only thing I would like to see changed, is the sharpness of the bumblebee's wings. They probably move quite rapidly, but they are not blurry. For me some motion blur would give the image a crown.
Of course this 'photo' could also have been taken with a high-speed camera. :)

The idea is great, one of the better entries I have seen so far.
My only crit is that theres a slight mismatch between the bumblebees and the environment, the bees could perhaps have been slightly more comic/clean in their style, aswell as more sense of motion in them (specially their wings).
But thats just a tiny crit, and it still deserves 5 stars:) Good work as usual

This is some really original and creative work you did there. Congratulations. When I first saw the picture I actually thought of a lets-do-some-stuff-to-the-sleeping-drunk-guy-at-a-party kind of thing, but your story is quite as good an explaination.
