*What software are you using?
**What is the shape of the curve? (pic if you have one)
***Are these layered feathers? Like a Bird?
****Are these individual feathers that are decorativly laid out on a curved surface?
*****Are the feathers to be also textured onto the surface via bump map for depth?
***** Do these feathers need to have a design? Small bird feathers are larger like Ostrich or Peakock?
**** Are they to look real or to be like decorative like folk tole painting?

thanks for reminding me. The software I am using is Maya4.5. The curves are all S shaped and are supposed to be placed decoratively much like the a bouquet of flowers with a certain center meeting point. They are supposed to be hawk feathers. I have enclosed a picture of what they are supposed to look like.
