Hi,

I've got a character with spiky hair made of geometry and would like to add softbody dynamics to the hair just to have a bit of bounce to it. The character has a PuppetMaster effect applied to it (body & head), a bone effect for the body and a seperate bone effect for the head. A MorphBlender effect is added to the head for facial expression. I have made the hair as part of the head cluster in the PuppetMaster effect. How do I apply SB Dynamics to the hair surface and still have the other effects work properly? Any help will be appreciated...

Thanks,

Here's a pic of the hair geometry as attachment.

Since the hair is in a position that doesn't have to be deformed so much, I would make it easier for myself by having the hair as a separate object, and just parenting it to the head bone, then apply the SBD. It should follow the head movement and even work with a squash and stretch head as far as I know.

Hi Ulven,

Never thought of doing it that way. I will try that, but will wait until I'm done the animation...
BTW, this character is rigged with your plugin. I am enjoying it so far.

Thanks
