Title: All is Lost
Name: Anthony Minto
Country: United Kingdom
Software: CINEMA 4D, Photoshop

I made the base mesh of this model in Cinema4D and created the textures from photographs I took a while back.

I then took the rendered image back into photoshop to postwork it until I came up with this final piece.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.

It looks almost photo real until it comes to the beard and the nose. The beard seems too straight cut and the hair all hangs straight down, while the nose has a minorly CG look to it on the edge in the way it is being lit.

I had a real problem with the nose. I made a bit of a hash of it during modeling and tried to rectify it during the postwork stage. I agree it could do with a lot more work.

As for the beard, painting hair has never beem my strong point lol. It's something I want to concentrate on in the future.

Cheers for the comment, I appreciate the feedback. :)

Is this meant to be Charlie from 'Lost'? It has the look of Dominic Monaghan.

Actually it's me more than anything. I created the textures using photographs of my face (although my hair is shorter and lot less face fuzz lol).

Any chance of a wireframe

Here are some WIP shots of the model. Looking at the beard, I think I actually prefer how it looked at this earlier stage.
