Waterfall

All Fx work done in Maya, Particles rendered with Renderman, All compositing done in NUKE. Waterfall particles were projected onto reconstructed geometry, I took that and applied a triple plane displacement. River was done in Real Flow. Multiple passes.

Animation, Lighting and Composite only
Multiple passes out of Mental Ray and Software.
Comped in NUKE

Hey Geronimo,

That turned out absolutely fantastic! I know you put a lot of time and effort into all of your projects and I can definitly say it shows. Keep up the good work, and when you get that Lead Effects Artist job look me up. ;)

I didn't even realize the water after the waterfall was also CG. I thought it was part of the origonal footage for some reason, but then I watched it again and realized it wasn't. Nice Job man.

your composition skills are amazing , the two first scenes looks incredible , my only crit
is that the woman eyes scene looks a little less impressive
but anyway awesome work ! :thumbsup:

Thank you for the comments, much appreciated. I will continue to refine both shots to perfection. These shots provide excellent calisthenics for FX and Compositing. Any constructive critisims is always welcomed. Thanks for your time.

Excellent stuff Geronimo. I had a feeling youd crank out great work in CAP. I can only echo the comments above. Waterfall is too sweet; the girls eyes, not so much. You have great tallent, and the industry is hurting for vfx artists. Best of luck, and let me know when you post new stuff.
