Yes, I'm fairly sure it works from max 4 to max 2008, 32 and 64bit.

Heh, well Lorenz attractor is the most famous of strange attractors so its no wonder somebody beat me to it implementing it for max.
I just did the interface as an afterthought for this 1 line script http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=98&t=564914 which creates the Lorenz attractor with the most used values.
I had a look at Georg Dümlein's script and they really have nothing else common codewise than that they are both implementations of Lorenz attractor with splines in max.
looks quite interesting - i will be taking a look at this when I get home. I love mathematical-based models... like fractals and such.

In that case you might also want to take a look at my sierpinski pyramid object, its max plugin and should work in max 9 and 2008 32bit versions.
