Hi everyone i am having some problems with maya recognizing my userSetup.mel file i do not have bonus tools installed, i am using maya 2008 and it is located in c://my documents/maya2008/scripts/ on windows xp, can someone please help me figure this out? thanks!!

Try putting your userSetup.mel into the maya2008/prefs/scripts directory.
Thats what i had to do to get it working.
Not sure why they changed this from previous Versions, maybe its just a bug.

thanks so much for the help! :) apparently it was a 64 bit vista problem .
