Hi everyone,

for sometime now I have been meaning to home my modelling to create complex models. Choose to design a microwave. This is my progress so far... still have to work on some extra details to complete the models.... hopefully i will be able to incorporate it into a CG scene....

Any tips and ideas on how i can improve on this.....?

Nice work so far.

One question... How do you input the time to cook? Also the dimension look a little off. The area where yo put the food in need to be wider.

Keep it up.

I only modelled this based on the one i use at home.... the cooking area is quite small....

Sorry 'bout the small cooking area.

Like to see it with some textures.

Looking pretty good sofar. The only suggestions I can give is boolean out (with better bool) behine the knobs and buttons.
Also double check your dimensions, you may have a small cooking area in your microwave, but I don't think it will be square and your image looks like it is square.

eokori - if you are modeling from a microwave that you have at home i would copy it as much as you can - get out a tape measure and copy dimensions - and reproduce logos and other art in photoshop - after you've done that you can ding it up a bit and add grunge and dents

so far its looking very good
