Hi,

I want to animate the age of a particle flow, so that it starts off at 60 and over a couple of seconds the particle age reduces to 10. This is to simulate a flame coming out the end of a gas pipe and then after a while the flow of gas is drasticaly reduced leaving just a small flame.

The particle need to pass thier age on to afterburn so simply deleting them won't work

You can either use Script Operator (function like setParticleLifespan) or Box#3 solutions.
