Hello all….

I feel quite intimidated to post in here as all you work is sooo good but anyways…

Im totally new to 3d but anyways, I think its time that I showed this little fellow to you guys and see where I can take him..

Its still very much in development and is not a finished head.

I want to put a lot more detail around the eyes, ears, mouth, head, hair and so on….just finding the time at the moment is a bit hard…

:hmm:
You are not lost with the ears, you're lost with the entire model.
I don't think you knew whats the look you were going after in the first place.
My advice is to stop wasting time on this model, and try something spesific like a character that exists in nature. Maybe do a combination of life forms that exist in nature. In any case, develop your character in a piece of paper before going 3D. Describe him with words and sketches. Is he human like? Is he an animal? Whats his personality? What is he eating? Stuff like that.
And don't throw textures on and do render tests when your model is so far from finished. This way you waste your time and loose your focus that is primarily to make a good looking model. And thats a bad habit IMHO.
Take care.
