this is my first post. This image was created completely in Maya.

Like your image, perhaps a little too dark on the tree, but that's all really. Nice cartoony pic.

mwahahaha, nice one... The only thing is hat the foreground is not enough distinct from the backgroud... What about a fill light on the three and the bird?

"How did you make that tree on your cartoon style render. Just curious if you used a plugin to generate all those leaves or manually placed and tweaked them. Thanks bud"
Answer:
I worked with Maya and as you might know, the software has integrated Paint Effects. Of course I did not use standard settings and brushes, so there is a lots of leaves created by hand in the upper areas ares and a bunch of modified leaves from a defined brush. Like the leaves falling off the tree are handmade an tweaked into the right place.
