Nice model.
I defenitely get the feel from Gears of War.
P.S. Oh, I dont understand whats happeninng, but I can deduct that you first named your creature Xerxes and than chenged something.
If my deduction is correct why did you change or erase the name?

looks awesome, and you should call it whatever the hell you want. i'd like to see a full shot, though, and maybe a little more dynamic pose. cool looking though

good job man.
No crits except for the composition, as there is no strong focal point and the background fights with the model for ones attention.
Perhaps a different lighting setup with low intensity fills, high intensity key and rim lights would make the model "pop" out, and maybe trying a different camera angle?
Other than that, the model/texturing is great!

I love this image especially the latest one youve posted, very good composition. The only thing that bugs me is that his wrists seem a little too skinny compared to his huge arms, i think the forearm kinda shrinks down a tad too bit. Other then that perfect.
5 stars from me, job well done.
Cheers.
