I've just upgraded to OS10.2 so I've only just got to use the latest version of Wings (i was using 0.97.01) and I'm finding some problems.
TweakS crashes as soon as I select it. (Slide is OK though)
When I try to apply one of the suplied textures in AutoUV it applies an inverted image of the Wings interface!
I've posted these on the official site but haven't got any replies yet.
The one that's really frustrating may not be down to Wings at all though.
This gets a little complicated so bear with me!
Loading any object created or modified outside of wings seems to load (it appears in the outliner and geometry graph windows) but if I select it Wings says it has 0 edges, 0 faces and 0 verts. If I attempt to scale or frame I get a crash dump.
I've tried with Poser figures and simple objects from Lightwave.
If I try exactly the same thing on a friends XP machine the objects import perfectly, provided they were created on that machine.
If I try with the objects from my Mac the windows version of Wings behaves exactly the same as the Mac version.
So is my Mac doing something odd to the .obj files? I've no idea, I've got a few more experiments to make, so if I get any more info I'll post it here.
Is anyone else having problems like this? Any suggestions about how to investigate where the problem lies?
Hope someone can help!
Baz
