Everything You Need to Animate ~
Until April 21, you can get LightWave 3D and an HP xw4000 Workstation for the retail price of LightWave! Purchase any HP workstation and you are automatically eligible to buy LightWave 3D for just $846 (regular price is $1595!). Buy your HP Workstation online (www.hp.com) or call 1.800.888.9909, and then call NewTek at 1.800.862.7837 to order LightWave.

Sounds like a cool deal to me!

Thanks Proton,

But, there is no need to call HP.
The shipping, tax (16% here in Germany) and customs are to high, wouldn’t be worth anymore.
Last year I ordered LW with the 10 DVDs “the summer special” , I paid another 250 $ just on the shipping, customs and tax.…

Would be great if Newtek would do more for the European LW community.
This Lightwave seminar never happened.

There is no training tour this year, and the LW special offers are much better in the USA.
Just because your company is from Texas doesn’t mean that you are not welcome here anymore in the old Europe… :D

btw the interviews on newtek-europe are good, just wanted to say something positive :wavey:

Hey, get in line, pal. LW owes the Mac users first. How's that 7.5b coming?

I live in australia, and its no better over here. Especcially since $1 US = $1.40-$1.60
Also, what you also need to animate is massaih, never used it. BUT, i used LW to animate, and there was alot of problems i face. I think NewTek should consider doin a revamp on their animation

(I know i cant spell)

Nah, you don't need Messiah to animate.... LW does a very good job right out of the box...

I agree with Kretin. You dont need Messiah to animate. Lightwave is like anything else, you need to learn the toolset well enough to establish a workflow. Lightwaves tools are perfectly fine. Messiah also has a learning curve and I guarentee you that you wouldnt simply be able to jump in and use it effectively for awhile.

Ops, thanks Larry, I forgot that, they added a few European cities….

I even get a message from a LW reseller a couple of weeks ago
http://www.cai-systeme.com/index_ie.html ,
they wanted to convince Newtek to stop over here in Germany too.
So to all the German LW users, I think there a re a few, we must do a write/call/email campaign, write messages to Newtek Europe or CAI. :wip:
