View Full Version : baking occlusion maps in 3ds max

of course we all know that 3ds has the bake to texture, i usually use it for normal maps, but is there an option to bake an occluison map from the high res mesh, i dont see it in the place where the rest of the map options are, i have seen a few things that say it has to be done with mental ray, but couldnt find any that actually told me how to do it, can anybody help me out please.
