Structure-->Set Value is your friend. When things get out of whack select all of the center points and run Set Value to bring them back to 0.

i tried set value and moving all the points to the same value, but i still get the lips round when i put the face into hypernurbs there is a space between the lips....

You're using a symmetry object right? Is the sym inside the nurbs or is the nurbs inside the sym? If I remember correctly the nurbs should be the parent.

I myself like to use the coordinate manager, but set value works too. If you set value to 0, make sure it's either on world, or if you set it to object that your mesh object has the same axis location as the symmetry object.

also, have you checked if your sym-object is at the same position as your poly-object?

ah yes, i can see just in the top image, the heirarchy you've currenlty got is

symmetry
-hypernurbs
--mesh

but it should be

hypernurbs
-symmetry
--mesh

you can also up the tolerence in the symetry object and that might help you a little.

I feel special, been repeated twice now. :p  http://www.thatforum.com/images/darkproject/cheerful.gif

Hey Sebek, are you just practicing or is it going to be used for something bigger? It looks like the same one in your avy and I like that one, kind of has a theatrical drama mask thing going on.

caravaggio: i'm just trying to see what I can do with it when it comes to finishing the whole head in C4D as compared to LW; rendering also... i like both apps and will be learning to use them both before I decide which one to purchase next fall...

man that must be hard to make a head with out being able to save.

but I bet its a really good learning experience. I should try that some day probibly learn tons.

ohh and if you have problem with symetry objects remember that if you move the object axis it is like moving the symetry with out moving the object.
