mimo8 04-15-2003, 06:27 PM working with a very basic held character to make my first steps in animation. I tried charakter animation before, but allways with much too complex modells
I think IŽll teach the little, green guy some more moves.

hehe, cute. I like him...
Could use a tongue though, some kind of pathway to make me realize my fingers are going somewhere when he bites them off.

he/she/it is well cool....that first image...you kinda expect him to be shouting at ya...a sort of cross between...Tarzan and a gremlin voice would be cool........AAAAAaaaaarrrrrggghhh and GGGrrrrrrrr...hopefully you get what i mean...otherwise you'll just think i'm completely mad.
:wip:

for anyone interested in my progress in animation (probably everybody here :surprised)
here two more movs making the alien sneak:
sneak1 (http://www.xdv.org/mmm/download/movs/sneak1.mov)
sneak2 (http://www.xdv.org/mmm/download/movs/sneak2.mov)
the weigth painting (actually claude bonet) is still a bit buggy arround the stomage but the circle has some good chances to get slick (my best walkcircle so far)
filming myself and studiing the moves helped me a lot:

Looks pretty good to me. I like how the head and ears bob up and down.

Looks pretty good. I think there is some mesh problem going on in the ankles, though - probably weighting.
he is very cute!
i especially like the overbite-it adds something, helps to define him as a character
