Hi guys, after much procrastination, I've decided to start to my own sketch book thread. Hopefully I can benefit from all your knowledge and experience and improve my own ability.

A little background info; I am a student currently in my last year of A Levels and every Thursday I have a life drawing class. So I will be posting my weekly attempts and anything i do in between.

Hi and welcome

nice sketches.
a suggestion: try -at least for a while- to be economic with your lines. Don't draw lines when observing the model, but observe first, then draw a line, observe again, then draw another line, etc...
In time your linework will have a lot more "schwung" (as in: fluid linework with a great sense of continuity and form)

looking forward to your next posts
