hi all,

this is my latest work. i learned alot from working on this. i used xsi, zbrush and photoshop. i used the fast skin shader with a combination of hand painted textures. i thought it would be appropriate to create a basketball related piece since the basketball season just started. ths is lit with several spot lights. i tried using final gathering but it wasn't working well with the fast skin shader. anyone who might know how to fix that, i'd appreciate knowing how. all in all, i had fun doing this and learned some new things. feedback is welcome as always.

cool man.

My main crit is that it needs a background. Also maybe some very small sweat drops coming off of them would be cool (and perhaps a little motion blur).

thanks for the input man. you're right about a background and the sweat drops. i did try to play with the specular to show some sweat, but more obvious sweat drops would be cool. as for the motion blur, i did try it, but i wanted to go for a sort of poster look. if you look at a jordan poster, it's very focused and there really isn't alot of blur. so i decided against it.
