Well at least loosely based on his mini-tutorial. I still need to do some tweaking, and of course fiqure out how I am going to texture him/her.

Crits and Comments welcomed!

first crit is pretty obvious: there's nothing to look at. Where is the file?

I can see it perfectly, nice one
glad someone is finding it useful :)
I'll be adding a proper walkthrough explaining the screenshots, but from looking at this I don't think you need it, looking good, keep at it :applause:

nice only thing thats funny is that the legs and a bit to turned inwards for my tastes. but thats just prefrence. I am sure spiders can walk that way.

nice model man. thats really good.

i think its on the server end, as i know i have had problems with image linking as well, but the VB is flawless when it comes to it, its just the server the image is on...or perhaps cgtalk is SO damn busy :surprised

I don't know if I like the coloring of the spider right now, but I am going to put it away for awhile and maybe comeback to it later.

Modeled in Cinema 4D R8 post work in Photoshop and Painter.

Comments and Crits wanted.

very nice but the thing just doesnt seem to "cling" to the skin maybe if you up your shadow map or something. I dont know but it does look pretty cool.
