View Full Version : "Dee" Rig
Kh4rn 11-15-2007, 01:54 AM Hey guys just wanted to share this with you. It is a free rig, but I'm mainly concerned with the opinions of other fellow riggers. I’m still an intermediate level rigger and just wanted advise on what I could have done better or just overall suggestions about the rig.
requires Max9 and the PEN_Attribute_holder (Many thanks to Paul Neale for this tool)

Woah, this RIG is full of surprises ...
At first I was like " Cool, but it lacks a facial rig " ha ! this was before I read the readme file ...
This RIG have a lot of controls  and a bone-based ui-driven facial rig
Pretty cool !
And you have a :D DEFORMATION LAYER :D that Uber cool ...
This is overall, a great rig :applause:
Thanks for you time, the animators will apreciate it :wavey:
I'm sure going to play more with this tonight...

Thanks for the comments guys. Sorry for the delayed reply I have just been making some animation test with this character's low res version. Here is what I've gotten so far.

Thanks for the comments again, I'm still updating the rig since I have tried it my self and I have found a couple of minor issues.
Hey I like that allot. Well done and thanks for the mention. Great work and thanks for sharing as well. I will get my students using this for thier animation classes if that is OK?
I have added you as well to the http://humber3d.ca home page. This is the site for all students taking 3D programs at humber College in Toronto Canada.

Thanks Paul, I have learned so much from your DVD's I'm truly honored you like this rig.
You are welcome to use it for your animation classes, I'm grateful it has been considered to be used at your school.
Hope to see some great animations, and more importantly I hope animator's enjoy using this rig.
Thanks again.
