Hi..

I'm working on a Huey UH-1 helicopter. I didn't have any good blueprint for it but this is what I came up with.
There is a lot to do in modeling and texturering but hey it's a "Work In Progress"..
When I'm finished I will use the model to do some animations. Motionblur and filmnoise will probably save my ass :)

I've ALWAYS wanted to model the Huey.

Great fun to see your model.

One thing, if you don't mind. I think the rotorblades are positioned a little too high, and the rotorshaft may be a little too thin (I'm not sure).

really nice model. i like the secound compositing test, that rox :buttrock: .

Cool composites!! "Apocalypse Now" or what!!
I was just flicking through the WIP gallery looking for something else, but looked at this cus your name stuck out!
And I have now confirmed U are indeed a Meshbuilder, and a good one at that. great textures too. looking forward to more.

Nice model. First compositing test looks very nice to me. There's something not right with second one, but I can't put my finger on it.:thumbsup:

Hi.. I haven´t had much time to work on this helicopter for a while but here's a little update.. I tried to create the look of an old photograph..

the last picture looks awesome, it looks exactly like an old picture. if you showed someone that pic i bet they wouldn't have any doubt that it was real.

Just one thing about the pic, you might want to make it a little darker, not to make it look more real but to make it look better.
