Hey Everyone!
I'm new to this forum, and to maya aswell =)
I've been at it for 3months now! Bought a load of books and armed myself to the problems that may arise along the way ;)
Well now i do have a problem, from wich a can't find a solution...
That's why i turned to you guys and girls :) Because strenght comes in numbers right!
As for my problem. ( i cant post pictures yet so i have to describe it as good as i can )
I Modeled a submarine, with a lantern on a stick witch illuminates the scene on the end of the "pole" i have a ring(PrB) witch is parented to the pole, on that ring i have another ring(ArB) and another(ArB). On that ring is the lantern(ArB+GravField).
When i hit play it works fine!
Now here is the problem, when i want to animate the pole or the submarine i get stuck, in frame1 everything is fine but when i move to F15 for example and move the GEO, and play it, the pole doesn't chatch the ring and it just falls, i hope you get what i mean.
Now i hope you guys know how i can move the pole and the sub without having the lamp fall off all the time!
