Not bad at all for your first one here! Impressive sofa, and the other furniture looks good.
I've seen a lot more cross-app work lately, and I'm wondering why you'd go from Maya to 3DS (or vice versa) when you could have just rendered it in mental ray? Are you more familiar with Vray? Not a critique, just a curiosity! Looking good, regardless, my friend. Keep at it.

Thanks for the comment. The main reason i had to switch between two applications was because am not yet comfortable enough with mental ray in maya, besides i think vray's GI system is easily to understand. You don't have to worry about photon emission and also vray produces better results when it comes to architectural visualisation.
I posted a night render also.
something wrong with the scale, i don't know, the rendering is good though

Nice to know you like the render. I didn't model with any floor plan, i modelled with only a reference picture, i guess that's why am off scale. will work on that later. Thanks.
