Hi everyone,

Has anyone here used Maya Cloth extensively? I often heard about problems that arised with Maya Cloth, can you please tell me some of those problems that you may have faced? I am still doing some research on it right now through Maya's manual.

Also, if I understand my friend correctly, how do you use polygonal cloth object to drive a hi-res NURBS objects? Or just use polygonal model to drive a Nurbs model in general?

Anyhow, please let me know.
Thanks everyone!

Haven't used cloth yet. Or any dynamics for that matter. But something I was showed this week answers your second request. To get a low-poly model to drive a hi-res Nurbs or whatever model use the WRAP Deformer. Choose your hi-res model first, then shift/select your low-poly model. Then, under the ANIMATION menu set go to DEFORM - WRAP. Now, whatever you animate your low-poly model to do, your hi-res model will do the same. =)
