View Full Version : Sound is longer in Maya than it is in After Effects...?

I put a sound clip in Maya and set my playback to real time (24fps) and i made a character talk along with the clip. Then I rendered it at 24 fps as well.

Then when I go into after effects and bring in the sound and the frames, the sound is way longer than my frame sequence. Any idea why or how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

What I've had to do is adjust the duration of my frame sequence in After Effects to make it just as long as the clip. it worked but for a longer animation this isn't an option :hmm:

sounds like you're importing the same audio clip at two different sample rates in the two programs. I'd expect the pitch would be slightly different as well.
