I am trying to fix the checkered texture on my "texture mapping practice model".
I'm following a mapping tutorial found here (http://mr2k.3dvf.com/tutorials/max/polygones/joan_of_arc/part04/part04_bases_01.htm).
The problem I have is that every time I select a face, that face is painted with a solid red (to denote that is selected), but when that happens I cannot see the checkered texture anymore, so how am I suppose to fix the texture stretching when I cannot see it?
Is there a way to at least reduce the opacity of the red selection?
