Sorry but it's more like a cereal package than a book cover.
Be more simple, dont use glowy out line on your text, dont use lens flare, the little stars are not looking good either.
Try to be more stylish,go in a library and check books cover, and get inspired.
keep on.

make sure you look at other books, you need to leave room for a publishers logo, authors name on the spine, also try and stick to a grid, leave plenty of space at the edges and the bottom. Also if it a hard back book or a paperback, because you'll have to have a sleeve thing that goes inside the book (sorry for the lack of technical terms)

Hmmm I don't really like it much, to be honest
Firstly, the title needs to be MUCH bigger. The book title should be a lot larger than the authors name, from instance.
The book title is also in a horrible font, in my opinion. Keep it simpler. Also, don't use two different fonts for the title - it looks cheap.
Your title is also very obscured by the image behind it. The book title should be the most prominent thing on the cover when you look at it at a glance.
The actual look of the cover looks a bit too cheap too. The image is boring - it says NOTHING about the book. The cover should make someone want to pick up the book and see what it's all about. This doesn't do that. You need to create a sense of intrigue.
That continent with the glow on it clashes far too much with the background.
And those outer glows on everything must go! They don't look nice at all
Why is the person in silhouette? A person should only really be in silhouette if there is something myserious about them. Even so, this is way too flat. Why not create a 3D character that is just in very dramatic lighting?
What's this book about anyway?

i agree with the comments
theres too much stuff going on. you want the title to be the first thing to stand out, that way people will find it.
that backround imagery should be muted down not so saturated
good luck..

allright now there are some good advices
ok...i´ve been thinking of making a new book cover along time ago(since the biggining of this year, cause this cover is from back the old days, i think since biggining of 2002) In this new cover i was thinking of having some paintings of some of the characters disposed in a cool way...a bit like Final Fantasy VII, with 3 characters lined up and with the villain behind. also, there should be other lesser characters behind in a huge battle sequence featured in the book.
The logo. I kinda like the heated marble stuff. About the font, yeah it has being a problem to find a font and color type to match with the black marble(i whad never inteded to leave the final version with that smaller font or colour type, but i hadnt time to find a better one yet). About the glowing font its the name of the Saga(this is only a book on a big saga) while the blue is the actual tittle of the book. Yes about the publishers logo i also tought of that...i´ll have to give a look around other Action/Adventure/Fantasy books to get some ideas...
Thanx for the comments. I´ve really apreciated your help
Cheers!
