Wow. I remember actually going to see the original Basil-the great mouse detective back in the late 80s. I was roped into it but it was quite a fun film.

I wonder if its going to be a remake or sequel...

Uhm...neither. They just mentioned it as one of the films the directing team did before. Also, The Princess and the Frog is a Disney production, not a Pixar film as the article makes it to be.

2010? I'm suspecting that by 2010 technogoly will have evolved so much that realtime fluid dynamics, global lights and whatever else pixar does in their movies will be pretty much fesiable in home desktops.
