hey guys. i have a real problem with normal maps im using mayas transfer maps system.

i have these 2 cubes im trying to transfer the normals from the detailed cube to the basic one. i seperated the 2 out so you could see them both. my problem is when i bake it out all i get is literally as if i had put an identical cube on top. i cant seem to get anything out of it. i have tryed changing the envelope sizes. im not sure what to do about it. if anyone knows anything i can do i would really appreciate it. well heres the cudes thanks again

Try tapering the edges of the highpoly just a little bit you have to many 90degree angles atm, theres nothing that the lowpoly can pickup.
