hey guys. took a slight break from the thug to start on this guy. just trying to get looser/more expressive w/ zb3. still rough in many areas, mainly legs/hands/head. need to get back to the mob thug but c/c welcome as i will be coming back around to this guy soon.

Interesting design. Did this come from a concept? It looks kind of doodled, like the details seem random and incoherent. The head looks like it is from a different creature than the body. That might be what you want though.

yep, that's exactly what it was, a doodle. this update is also a doodle, just more refined. i did a few sketches on paper just to gather my thoughts but for the most part i think zbrush 3 is intutive/fast enough that you can sculpt and concept simultaneously.

went in a bit of a new direction here. still roughing out the design. hands will be very much dehumanized. horns, tentacles, etc will be better integrated next time around. just imported for design presentation.

C&C welcome.

I like the new direction you have taken with your creature.
